Maharashtra scholarship exam
The Maharashtra state government conducts scholarship exams for class four and class seven students every year. The class four scholarship examination is known as middle school scholarship examination or pre-secondary scholarship examination. On the other hand, the class seven one is known as high school scholarship examination or secondary scholarship examination. The Maharashtra scholarship exam is executed by the zilla parishads of the state, and the students of private, state government and zilla parishads schools are allowed to appear for these examinations.
The Maharashtra state scholarship exam uses OMR sheets in the form of answer sheets. Students have to attempt three papers which have 50 questions each. The first paper is a language paper, both in English and Marathi. The second has mathematics and social sciences, while the third consists of intelligence test and general science. All the three papers have multiple choice questions
