OMR Based Attendance System for Corporates

The attendance system of the corporate world has undergone tremendous evolution. From marking on the attendance muster to the biometric system, it has undergone lot of changes. Today, the biometric system is the most commonly used attendance management system in the corporate world.

The employees have to register their attendance by swiping their entry card or with their thumb impression. Moreover, importing the data to the payroll software at the end of the month is also quite easy. Apart from this, the employees do not get a chance to manipulate the attendance records. However, the biometric system is really expensive and not everyone can afford it. This is where the OMR based attendance system for corporates comes into picture.

The OMR attendance sheet format for corporates is usually printed in colors like pink so that even a small mark can be registered by the software. This attendance sheet format sample is designed for marking the attendance of 10 security guards. At the top, there are OMR bubbles for recording the employee code of each guard. Below this are the columns for 31 days. As the security guards have to work in shifts, the provision for marking the attendance as per the shifts is also provided. There is also space for marking overtime. The bubbles or blocks present at the end of the OMR sheet are provided for marking the total number of hours worked overtime.

At the end of the month, the scanned images of these OMR sheets are read by the attendance management software or OMR software. This is an ideal way of marking the attendance of the employees in case installing a biometric system is not feasible.
